A smaller, sharper job
Not transcription. Not automatic “insight.”
Transcription platforms make text. Qualitative-analysis systems code documents. This workroom begins after an authorized transcript exists and answers a narrower question: can another person retrieve the exact passage, its source revision, and its surrounding context?
Passage wording is derived from selected segments and cannot be silently edited. Titles, summaries, topics, destinations, and verification notes stay visibly human-authored.
Session-only local media
Link audio or video from the device, seek to timed segments, and record what was checked. Media is never saved by the app.
Exact range plus context
Capture a segment range, keep before-and-after context, filter by text, speaker, topic, status, or destination, and jump back to time.
Fingerprint and drift findings
A source digest binds every captured passage to the transcript revision. Replacement text makes stale passages blocking—not quietly “close enough.”
Human verification ledger
Distinguish unreviewed, text-checked, and media-checked passages with dated notes. The state records work; it does not certify truth or rights.
Eighteen passive files
Export exact passages, context, topics, speakers, findings, chronology, source fingerprint, checkpoint, checksums, and a script-free reader.
Honest boundary
The app never decides whether a quotation may be used.
It does not obtain consent, identify speakers, transcribe, redact, anonymize, verify facts, infer themes, determine copyright or publicity rights, clear quotations, or approve publication. The owner records access and rights context, and the real project remains responsible for review.
