What should an interview passage handoff packet contain?
Include a human-readable passage reader, exact transcript map, quote and topic tables, speaker records, verification log, findings, edition summary, chronology, source fingerprint, method boundaries, retrieval checklist, restorable checkpoint, manifest, and checksums.
Make the first file passive
A script-free HTML reader gives recipients a low-execution way to inspect passages and context without installing the app. Write the decision in plain language and retain the original source separately so the index can be audited against something outside the browser project.
Expose sensitive contents
The packet can contain the full imported transcript, names, notes, and quotations. It must not be sent merely because generation was local. Review the result as a retrieval aid rather than a conclusion. Human-authored fields must remain visibly distinct from exact source-derived text.
Checksums have limited scope
They can reveal later file changes but do not authenticate the sender, establish custody, or authorize the recipient. Carry the limitation into the frozen edition and passive handoff so a recipient can understand what was checked, what was not checked, and what remains their responsibility.
