Why export a script-free HTML interview index?
A passive HTML file can preserve readable passages, source locators, context, topics, and boundary language without accounts, remote assets, trackers, forms, or application JavaScript.
Keep content escaped
Transcript and note text must render as text, not executable markup, even when the source contains HTML-like characters. Write the decision in plain language and retain the original source separately so the index can be audited against something outside the browser project.
Use restrictive document policy
A noindex directive and default-deny content policy reduce accidental execution and indexing, though recipients still control how files are opened and shared. Review the result as a retrieval aid rather than a conclusion. Human-authored fields must remain visibly distinct from exact source-derived text.
Pair with machine-readable files
HTML is convenient for reading; CSV, JSON, a checkpoint, manifest, and checksums support transfer and later reuse. Carry the limitation into the frozen edition and passive handoff so a recipient can understand what was checked, what was not checked, and what remains their responsibility.
